Onondaga Hill Stormwater Infiltration
The groundwater flowed into this commercial building in Onondaga Hill, and before it receded, left a mucky mess on the ceramic-tiled floor. The black water also wicked into the walls and baseboards, rendering them non-salvageable. SERVPRO can use shovels and squeegees to collect and remove most of the debris. Then we can flood cut the walls with a controlled demolition to limit the build back material and labor requirements. The After Photo shows a cleaned area with the exposed 2x4 studs and bottom plate. The opposite wall has the baseboard removed for better and faster drying. An application of an antimicrobial completes the mission before the reconstruction.
