Restoring Smoke Damage in Syracuse

This 2nd floor bedroom in Syracuse, NY may not look like there is too much wrong but the result of a kitchen fire left the entire house covered in soot and a strong smoke odor. As the heated air from a fire rises it carries smoke and soot with it to the highest points within a building. The walls, ceiling and carpeting in this room were coated light soot, and the odors had permeated the porous materials. The smoke from kitchen fires often includes food proteins and grease that cannot be removed from some materials. We removed all porous materials that would have held the odor and cleaned all surfaces to remove the soot. Our customer was very happy with the results. s.
