Baldwinsville Water Damage Cleanup in Basement
The supply lines to this Baldwinsville washing machine leaked and created a small area of water damage on the basement floor. The technicians often use both manual methods such as mops and extraction equipment to reduce the time needed to dry the basement. The Before Photo shows that the scale of the water damage was centered around the hot and cold supply lines. After the water removal services completed, the techs dried the area and used their moisture detection equipment to confirm the concrete dried. The slight white powdery areas as seen in the After Photo, are from salts and minerals coming to the surface of the substrate and get swept away in the final cleaning of the work-site before the water mitigation gets closed as completed. This chemical reaction is called efflorescence.
